RECONNECT SUMMIT The second panel discussion centred on ‘Innovation in Solar Cells & Emerging Technologies.’ Moderated by Dr. Rahul Pandey, As - sistant Professor, Department of Applied Sciences (Physics), Na- tional Institute of Technology (NIT), Delhi, the session brought together leading experts from the solar manufacturing and tech- nology segment. Speakers included Dr. Balachander Krishnan, COO, Indosol Solar; Samir Mehta, CEO, Zuvay Technologies Pvt. Ltd.; Sankar Ray, Vice President – Projects & Manufacturing, GREW Solar; and Dibakar Ray, CEO, Aster e Technologies. The panel highlighted advancements in solar cell efficiency, next-gen - eration manufacturing technologies and innovation-driven growth opportunities in the renewable energy sector. The final panel discussion of Day 1 addressed ‘C&I Sector: Power - ing India’s Industrial Decarbonisation & Data Centres.’ Moderat - ed by Sachin Singh, Associate Director, Electricity & Renewables Division, The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), the session featured Anurag Chivilkar, Director and VP, BD, Roofsol Energy; Anil Bhat, Director – BD, Hexa Climate; Karan Chadha, VP, BD C&I, Purvah Green Power (RPSG Group); and Ateesh Samant, COO, Oyster Renewable Energy. Panellists discussed industri - al decarbonisation strategies, renewable energy procurement for commercial and industrial consumers, and the increasing role of green power in India’s expanding data centre ecosystem. Another major session discussed ‘Residential Solar: From Rooftops to Smart Energy Ecosystems.’ The panel was moderated by Har - preet Singh, Programme Lead, Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW). Speakers included Gaurav Upadhyay, En - ergy Finance Specialist, India Sustainable Finance, Institute for Energy Economics and Financial Analysis (IEEFA); Akshat Jain, CEO, KLK Ventures Pvt. Ltd.; Arshi Chadha, Founder and CEO, Bridgeway Power; and Rajesh Kumar Jain, Director, HFM Solar. The discussion focused on rooftop solar adoption, financing mod - els, decentralised power generation and smart energy management solutions for residential consumers. The second day commenced with discussions around renewable energy scalability, solar manufacturing and energy storage solu- tions. The first panel discussion of Day 2 focused on ‘Utility-Scale Renewables: Scaling Capacity with Stability.’ The session was moderated by Ravi Verma, Member - Governing Council, Sustain - able Projects Developers Association (SPDA). Speakers included Sabyasachi Majumdar, Senior Director, CareEdge Ratings; Mahi - ma Bhargava, Head – Energy Transition Strategy and New Plat - forms, Reliance Infrastructure; Saurabh Gupta, Head of Reve - nues, India and Southeast Asia, ENGIE India; Sandeep Kashyap, CEO, Purvah Green Power (RPSG Group); Anish Pasrija, Head, BD, Regulatory Affairs & Corporate Business Alliances, Essar Renewables Ltd.; and Harendra Tomar, Leader, Business De - velopment, Sungrow.
