RECONNECT SUMMIT The second panel discussion, organised in partnership with No- vasys Greenergy Ltd., explored the topic ‘Solar Manufacturing & Components: Building a Self-Reliant Ecosystem.’ The session was moderated by Er. Ltd. The discussion focused on battery energy storage systems, financing mechanisms, grid integration and the role of storage in enabling round-the-clock renewable energy supply. The highlight of the two-day summit was The REconnect Annual Awards 2026, which celebrated outstanding achievements and innovations across India’s renewable energy and solar manufacturing ecosystem. Presented by R.K. Singh, Former Minis- ter of Power and New & Renewable Energy, during the summit at The Grand New Delhi, the awards recognised companies for their excellence in solar manufacturing, energy storage, rooftop solar, advanced technologies and sustainable energy solutions. Overall, the summit reinforced the view that strengthening renewable energy adoption, domes- tic manufacturing capabilities and energy storage infrastructure will be critical in ensuring India’s long-term energy security and sustainability goals. The event also underscored the importance of collaboration between government bodies, in- dustry stakeholders and technology providers in accelerating the country’s transition towards a re - silient and self-reliant clean energy future. energetica INDIA- May-June_2026 61
