General Manager – Marketing Icon Solar-En Power Technologies Pvt. Ltd. RAJAT SHRIVASTAVA Q Icon Solar has expanded rapidly in a highly competitive domestic man- ufacturing landscape. What have been the key drivers behind your scale-up to 2.6 GW? Rajat Shrivastava: Icon Solar was found- ed with a clear focus on strengthening India’s domestic solar manufacturing ecosystem. Over the years, we have evolved from being primarily a module supplier into an integrated manufac- turer serving rooftop, utility-scale, and agricultural solar projects across the country. Despite supply-chain challenges and an intense monsoon season, we successfully scaled our manufacturing capacity to 2.6 GW during 2025–26. This growth was driven by automation, disciplined execution, and strong collaboration with EPCs and developers, enabling us to expand rapidly while maintaining de- livery reliability. Q Given India’s challenging operating environments, how are your mod- ules engineered to ensure long-term per- formance and reliability? Rajat Shrivastava: Icon Solar modules are engineered specifically for India’s operating realities – high temperatures, dust-heavy regions, coastal humidi- ty, and heavy rainfall zones. Our focus remains on stable energy yield, me- chanical robustness, and predictable long-term performance, ensuring reli- able output across utility-scale plants, agricultural installations, and rooftop systems.
