ALMM Update: Solar Module Capacity Surpasses 204 GW in July 2026 The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has updated the Ap- proved List of Models and Manufactur- ers (ALMM) by adding 10,494 MW of solar module capacity in List-I in July 2026. With this, the cumulative mod- ule manufacturing capacity, enlisted in ALMM, reaches 204,383 MW. Six new entrants have added a cumula- tive 5,212 MW of capacity. Havells In- dia (1,221 MW), Solarium Green Ener- gy (1,230 MW), SSSV Textile Industries (Aroma Solar) (1,232 MW), ISH Solar (816 MW), Powersphere Renewable (654 MW) and NRG SOL Power (59 MW) are the new entrants in ALMM List-I. Among the existing players, Cosmic PV Power and Icon Solar-En Power Tech- nologies (Icon Solar) have added ca- pacities from their new manufacturing plants in Gujarat. Cosmic PV Power has added 1,848 MW, taking its total enlist- ed capacity to 3,150 MW. Icon Solar has added 2,557 MW of capacity, taking its total capacity to 3,131 MW. Other existing players that have in- creased capacities include Eastman Green Technologies (392 MW), Sri Savitr Solar (204 MW), Ganesh Green Bharat (188 MW), Solarmint Energies (formerly Sun N Sand Exim (India)) (111 MW), Jakson Engineers (43 MW) and Green Brilliance Renewable Energy (12 MW). However, post-updation of models, the enlisted capacity of Mun- dra Solar Energy (Adani Solar) has de- creased slightly by 73 MW. The list was last updated on May 1, 2026, when MNRE added 20,745 MW of solar module capacity, taking the to- tal capacity listed under ALMM List-I to 193,889 MW. The company presented its latest gener- ation of intelligent energy storage and hybrid inverter technologies, showcas- ing a fully integrated ecosystem that spans residential and C&I applications. These products demonstrated Deye’s continuous innovation in high-effi - ciency conversion, modular scalability, and multi-layer safety architecture, all supported by Deye Cloud, focused on real-time remote monitoring, intelli- gent system operation, and streamlined O&M for energy storage systems and power plants, stated the company. The next-generation SG06 Series made its global debut at Intersolar Europe 2026, bringing a significant leap for - ward in performance, compactness, and system intelligence compared to previous generations. While retaining its high-efficiency conversion and Deye Energy Management System, the SG06 Series introduces substantial structural and functional upgrades that directly enhance real-world deployment value. The maximum grid bypass current is increased by 42.9 percent, enabling the system to handle higher instantaneous load surges with greater stability and reliability during peak consumption conditions. Alongside its flagship systems, Deye also introduced the 2.56kWh and 5.12kWh Micro Hybrid ESS, all-in-one energy storage solutions designed for ultra-sim- ple deployment and flexible residential applications, especially in apartments, balconies, and small households. Inte- grating a Micro Hybrid Inverter func- tionality with a lithium battery module in a single streamlined unit, the system significantly reduces installation com - plexity while enabling true plug-and- play energy access. Responding to the rapidly growing de- mand for balcony PV and lightweight plug-in storage solutions, Deye also in- troduces both 2.56kWh and 5.12kWh micro storage systems.
