Energetica India Magazine May - June 2026

energy adoption increases, energy storage is becoming essen- tial for ensuring grid stability, energy reliability, and efficient power management. BESS enables better utilisation of solar energy by storing excess power and supplying it during peak demand periods or grid outages. We also see strong potential in smart energy management systems, AI-driven monitoring, and digital optimisation tools that improve operational efficiency and predictive mainte - nance. These innovations are making solar energy more in- telligent, efficient, and dependable for both commercial and industrial applications. Q Digital transformation is reshaping marketing across in- dustries. What role do data-driven marketing, automa- tion, and digital platforms play in IB Solar’s growth and cus- tomer acquisition strategy? Aakshi Mahajan: Digital transformation plays a central role in IB Solar’s growth strategy. Today’s customers expect faster engagement, personalised communication, and easy access to information, and digital platforms enable us to deliver that efficiently. We use data-driven marketing to better understand customer preferences, market trends, and engagement patterns. This allows us to optimise campaigns, improve lead generation, and strengthen customer relationships across multiple touch- points. Automation tools also help streamline communication, nur- ture leads, and improve operational efficiency, while platforms such as LinkedIn and industry-focused digital channels have become essential for brand visibility and B2B outreach. By combining digital innovation with industry expertise, we are able to build stronger market presence and improve customer acquisition outcomes. Q IB Solar offers integrated EPC and turnkey solutions. How do you market this integrated approach, and how does it enhance customer trust and long-term brand value compared to standalone offerings? Aakshi Mahajan: Our integrated EPC and turnkey approach is one of IB Solar’s strongest differentiators. Customers today are looking for reliable partners who can deliver end-to-end solutions rather than fragmented services. We position this integrated model as a value-driven offering that simplifies project execution, ensures quality consistency, and provides accountability throughout the project lifecycle. From design and engineering to installation and after-sales support, customers benefit from a single point of responsibil - ity and seamless coordination. Q What strategies are you adopting to expand IB Solar’s presence in new and emerging markets, and what role do partnerships, localisation, and digital outreach play in this ex- pansion? Aakshi Mahajan: Expansion into emerging markets requires a balanced combination of strategic partnerships, local under- standing, and digital engagement. At IB Solar, we are actively building relationships with distributors, EPC partners, and regional stakeholders to strengthen our market presence. Localisation is also a key aspect of our strategy. This includes adapting communication, service models, and support sys- tems according to regional market needs and customer expec- tations. Digital outreach further accelerates this growth by enabling us to connect with global audiences efficiently. Through tar - geted digital campaigns, thought leadership content, and par- ticipation in industry events, we are continuously expanding brand awareness and creating new business opportunities across international markets. Q Where do you see the next wave of growth opportunities in the solar sector? Aakshi Mahajan: The next phase of growth in the solar sec- tor will be driven by integrated clean energy ecosystems. Utility-scale solar, commercial and industrial rooftop instal- lations, and hybrid renewable projects and BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) solutions will continue to see strong momentum globally. We also anticipate significant growth in energy storage, EV charging infrastructure, smart grid technologies, and decen- tralised energy systems. As industries and governments accel- erate their sustainability goals, demand for reliable and intel- ligent solar solutions will increase substantially. BESS will play a crucial role in enabling round-the-clock re- newable energy availability, improving grid stability and op- timising energy consumption for commercial and industrial applications. The integration of solar with an advanced battery energy storage system is expected to become a major growth driver for the renewable energy industry in the coming years.
