NexPower: 2012 a bright start in Japan

NexPower sees PV Expo as an important start for 2012, and is currently arranging shipments for expected total of 12MW projects with Japanese clients.

Japan is always a promising market for NexPower. After few years of continuous work, finally this year NexPower sees more sweet returns. So far NexPower has been arranging shipments for expected total of 12MW projects to Japan. For a good balance, these shipments will be spread into three different promotional channels: local distributions, EPCs, and construction developers.

NexPower, as a worldwide leader in silicon thin film technology, has the ability to perform mass production of high performance of 160W thin film panels with a positive power tolerance -0 to +3%. Also according to the outdoor field test result from the famous Photon Magazine, NexPower modules were ranked as the best thin film modules with the highest annual output among all the tested samples in the year of 2011.

NexPower Sales & Marketing VP Charles Chen states “So far NexPower modules have been installed on more than one hundred roofs in Japan. NexPower modules have the advantage to be installed facing a wider range of angles and directions. Moreover the black color of the modules makes them a nice fit for the building.” The next step, NexPower is working on more possible solar applications of NexPower panels in the Japanese market.
