Meyer Burger showcased its innovative photovoltaic technologies at EU PVSEC

Meyer Burger Technology highlighted its strong position as a global technology leader at every stage of the photovoltaic (PV) value chain with its record setting 303 watt solar module, revolutionary “SmartWire Connection” technology and award winning DragonBack™ measurement system at the 27th European Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition (EU PVSEC) in Frankfurt, Germany, last week. It is the close cooperation between the innovative technology brands and the solar competence centres within the Meyer Burger Group which ensures the ongoing technology advancement and process integration between wafer, cell and module technologies and results in an increased energy yield and lower manufacturing costs.

 

During the exhibition, Meyer Burger’s innovative, integrated system offering generated strong interest among customers, especially those from emerging markets such as South America, India and Asia where Meyer Burger is committed to playing an active role in future energy development. In meetings with Meyer Burger, customers confirmed the necessity for new technologies and integrated solutions which increase cell and module efficiency while significantly decreasing the cost of production.
