CEL Releases EPC Tender for 11 MW Solar Projects in Maharashtra

The Central Electronics Limited (CEL) has announced that it has tendered 11 MW of grid-connected solar projects to be developed at different locations across Maharashtra. The bid-submission deadline is January 14, 2019.

The least project size will be 400 kW to 500 kW at a single location. The CEL will supply 300-Watt solar PV modules for the projects.

This is an EPC tender and the projects will be developed on turnkey basis. The scale of work includes the design, engineering, supply, construction, testing, and commissioning of the grid-connected solar PV projects. The successful bidder will be accountable for the operation and maintenance of the grid-connected solar PV projects for a phase of 10 years.

The successful bidder will also be accountable for the performance demonstration with allied equipment and materials along with connected transmission system up to 11 kV at designated locations. A single bidder must bid for the complete capacity tendered.

CEL has mandated that the mechanical structures as well as all the materials supplied by EPC contractor, electrical works, and the overall workmanship of the grid-connected solar project must be necessary for a phase of 10 years from the date of commercial operation.
