PRIX Energy Leads with Indigenous Solar Mounting Solutions, Says Founder Manu Kulshrestha
December 10, 2025. By News Bureau
Que: Can you provide a brief overview of PRIX Energy and its core mission in the renewable energy sector?
Ans: PRIX Energy is a solar energy company based in Greater Noida. The company was established in 2019 with a focus on solar rooftop mounting, the design of mounting structures, and developing indigenous solutions for solar infrastructure. Over time, we have expanded our product line and operations to serve a broader range of renewable energy needs.
Some of our major products and service lines include:
• EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) for solar power plants – both residential and commercial
• Manufacturing of solar mounting structures
• Aluminium module frames (solar panel frames made of aluminium), supported by our in-house anodising and electrocolor coating units
Our vision is to bring scientific rigour to the design and installation of solar mounting structures while promoting solar rooftop mounting using indigenous (locally sourced and made) solutions.
We emphasise innovation, time efficiency, quality, and strong after-sales service in everything we do. Sustainability is also a key pillar for us. We focus on reducing waste and emissions in our manufacturing processes and ensuring the responsible sourcing of materials.
So far, we have completed or supplied mounting structures for several MW-scale projects, with approximately 97 MW of installations and supplies accomplished.
Our operations span across India, with projects in Assam (Guwahati Railway Station), Punjab (Attari Border), and Jaipur (Birla Hospital), among others.
We have also participated in key government initiatives, such as the Jal Jeevan Mission in Uttar Pradesh, providing solar-powered solutions for water supply and sanitation
Que: How does PRIX Energy differentiate itself in the competitive energy sector?
Ans: At PRIX Energy, we distinguish ourselves through a combination of innovative solutions, comprehensive services, and a strong commitment to sustainability. We offer a wide range of services, including EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) for solar power plants, covering residential, commercial, and utility-scale projects.
What truly sets us apart is our in-house manufacturing capability for solar mounting structures and aluminium module frames. This vertical integration gives us quality control and ensures timely delivery. We've also built strong relationships with system integrators, installers, and developers across India by staying laser-focused on customer satisfaction.
But beyond business, we’re committed to the larger picture, environmental sustainability and social welfare. Through responsible sourcing, waste reduction, and efficient manufacturing, we're not only solving energy problems but doing so ethically. I believe our combination of customer focus, technical innovation, and sustainable practices positions us as a forward-thinking and socially responsible leader in the sector.
Que: How do you see the future of renewable energy shaping PRIX Energy’s strategy?
Ans: The global shift toward sustainable energy is fundamentally reshaping our strategy. As solar continues to lead the renewable sector, we may invest more in advanced technologies, like bifacial solar panels, floating solar systems, and smart solar grid integration in the coming years. These innovations will help us stay competitive and future-ready.
We're also exploring diversification into other renewables like wind, biomass, and especially energy storage. Hybrid energy systems are the future, and we want to be a part of that evolution. Our strategy includes expanding globally by 2026 to tap into emerging markets where demand is rising rapidly.
We’re also exploring investing in EV-related infrastructure. Energy efficiency and battery storage are crucial for grid stability, and integrated energy solutions are where we’re headed.
As the industry evolves, policy will play a major role. We're committed to staying ahead, adapting to new regulations while advocating for frameworks that promote clean energy growth.
Que: How does PRIX Energy adapt to changing government regulations and policies?
Ans: We closely monitor all major policy developments, including the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy's (MNRE) Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) order for solar PV modules that came into effect on April 1, 2024. This policy directly affects our procurement strategies and project execution for government-supported projects.
Our adaptability is key. Whether it’s shifts in import duties, new incentives for domestic manufacturing, or changes in the financial dynamics of the power sector, we adjust quickly. This responsiveness ensures we stay compliant and competitive while continuing to grow.
By integrating real-time policy updates into our business strategy, we maintain our momentum and contribute positively to India’s renewable energy goals.
Que: What emerging trends do you believe will have the biggest impact on the industry in the next decade?
Ans: The EV market is set to explode, especially with strong government support in India. We're definitely watching that space and considering ways to contribute meaningfully, possibly through charging infrastructure or integrated solar-EV solutions.
In solar specifically, the next decade will bring radical changes, both technological and economic. Smart grids, advanced storage systems, AI-powered energy management, and localised solar applications are going to redefine how energy is generated and consumed.
