November 15, 2025. By News Bureau

We are excited to showcase our latest string inverter, the ASW150K-LT, specifically designed for the commercial and industrial segment, said Ibrahim Kadriinamdar, Regional Sales Manager – MENA & India, Solplanet, in an interview with Energetica India.

Que: In a competitive inverter market, what do you see as Solplanet’s biggest differentiator compared to other global players?

Ans: Solplanet offers cutting-edge technology that includes features like ShadeSol technology. With ShadeSol technology, we can improve energy yield in partially shaded scenarios. Additionally, when we discuss the 350 kW inverter for utility-scale projects, safety remains one of our top priorities. We have designed an explosion-proof inverter that meets market requirements, making it one of the safest options for large ground-mounted projects.

Que: What markets are currently your strongest, and where do you see the biggest opportunities for expansion – residential or commercial & industrial?

Ans: Thanks to the government initiative, PM Surya Ghar Yojana, we are establishing a strong presence in Gujarat, Maharashtra, and the southern region for the residential segment. We are experiencing rapid growth with our flagship product, the 350 kW inverter for ground-mounted projects, which has become the preferred choice among consumers evaluating technology options. Furthermore, Rajasthan plays a significant role in our success story, contributing to our overall achievements in the market.

Que: Could you share any recent technological advancements from your R&D centres that will enhance product reliability and installation ease?

Ans: The safety features on both the AC and DC sides of our inverter are exceptional in the market. Given the current grid infrastructure in remote locations, we need an inverter that can operate effectively even with the weakest grid. The Solplanet inverter has the lowest SCR ratio of 1:1, which provides clients with confidence in the reliability of the product.

Que: What have you showcased at the REI Expo this year? Have you unveiled any new products?

Ans: We showcased our latest string inverter, the ASW150K-LT, specifically designed for the commercial and industrial segment. This advanced product is packed with features that enhance both safety and performance. It includes an Integrated DC switch that automatically disconnects during faults, Intelligent Arc Fault Detection (AFCI) for increased safety, and Smart PID Recovery to optimise energy yields. Additionally, the ASW150K-LT utilises ABUS communication technology, which significantly improves communication stability while reducing cable costs. To further assure our customers of its quality, this product comes with a remarkable 10-year factory warranty, setting us apart in the marketplace.

Que: Over the next 5 years, how do you see Solplanet evolving in terms of product portfolio and global market presence?

Ans: Energy demand in India is growing rapidly, and we are committed to offering a comprehensive portfolio tailored to various applications, including both on-grid and hybrid project scenarios. Our goal is to be the preferred choice for consumers seeking advanced technology and reliable products at competitive prices. To enhance customer support, Solplanet has established a dedicated hotline service that ensures users receive prompt assistance. As we continue to grow, we plan to expand our presence across different regions of India.
