Interview: Chirana Patel

Marketing Manager at PVblink Technology

PVblink Is Driving India’s Shift from Generation to Storage, Says PVblink’s Chirana Patel

November 14, 2025. By News Bureau

Diversification into energy storage solutions is one of PVblink’s key priorities, as we understand that India’s clean energy journey is shifting from just generation to generation plus storage, said Chirana Patel, Marketing Manager, PVblink Technology, in an interview with Energetica India.

Que: Could you highlight the main features of your On-grid and Off-grid Inverter ranges?

Ans: PVblink’s inverter portfolio is designed to meet India’s diverse solar requirements, with both on-grid and off-grid solutions built for efficiency, flexibility, and reliability.

Our On-grid inverters are available from small residential to higher-capacity commercial ranges, featuring dual/tri MPPT designs, ultra-low start-up voltage (30–40V) for early generation, and the ability to handle up to 50 percent overloading. We offer industry-leading efficiency of up to 98.8 percent, robust grid-side protection, and advanced digital monitoring through both Wi-Fi and M2M SIM connectivity. With on-cloud data servers hosted in India, customers enjoy safe and seamless access to performance data.

For regions with frequent power cuts, our Off-grid inverters provide higher battery backup support, intelligent battery management, and compatibility with multiple battery chemistries. They are designed as all-in-one power solutions. Features like fast switchover, overload protection, and user-friendly LCD displays ensure uninterrupted power and ease of use.

Que: PVblink integrates digital monitoring systems into its inverters. How do these enhance user experience and system management?

Ans: Our inverters are designed not only to generate power but also to give customers complete visibility and control. Each unit comes with Wi-Fi and is ready to provide M2M SIM-compatible data logging, allowing real-time and remote monitoring from anywhere. Through this platform, users can easily track generation, consumption, and system performance. Smart features like fault alerts, predictive maintenance, and performance reports help customers and service teams act quickly, minimise downtime, and improve energy yields.

We have developed our own on-cloud monitoring platform, with servers located safely within India. This ensures that all system data stays secure in the country, fully aligned with the Government of India’s push for ‘Make in India’ and data localisation.

In short, PVblink’s digital monitoring makes solar systems smarter, safer, and more reliable, giving customers confidence that their investment is always working at its best.

Que: What key products and technologies have PVblink showcased at the REI Expo this year?

Ans: At this year’s REI Expo 2025, PVblink showcased its expanded portfolio of inverters designed for diverse applications. This includes our on-grid inverter range up to 110 kW for residential, commercial, and industrial projects and advanced off-grid models with battery packs for reliable power in remote areas. The Battery Management System (BMS) is engineered and designed by PVblink (Made in India). Our latest All-in-one series brings flexibility and simplicity into a single unit.

We also highlighted our smart switch technology, which enables existing on-grid systems to be upgraded into hybrid configurations, reflecting our focus on making solar more adaptable and future-ready.

By combining this adaptability with Make-in-India manufacturing, strong R&D, and easy-to-use features, PVblink is proving that solar power can be both practical and future-ready. Our focus remains on creating technology that is efficient, dependable, and truly built for India’s growing clean energy needs.

Que: Do you have plans for capacity expansion, new manufacturing facilities, or entry into new export markets in the near future?

Ans: Yes, capacity expansion is a key part of PVblink’s roadmap. With demand for solar growing rapidly, we are already scaling our manufacturing capacity at our Gujarat facility while ensuring the same level of quality and reliability. Our all-in-one inverter series – covering on-grid, off-grid, and higher battery backup solutions – has gained strong traction in the Indian market, and we are preparing to meet this rising demand with advanced production lines and automated testing systems.

On the export front, PVblink is actively exploring opportunities in neighbouring South Asian markets, as well as emerging regions such as South America. Each new market will be approached with localised product configurations, compliance with regional certifications, and the same strong after-sales support that we provide in India. By expanding both capacity and reach, PVblink aims to make its Made-in-India inverters a global standard, combining performance, affordability, and trust.

Que: How do you foresee the evolution of the Indian inverter market amid the country’s growing renewable energy targets?

Ans: The Indian inverter market is set for rapid growth as the government drives ambitious renewable energy targets with schemes like PM Surya Ghar Yojana to expand rooftop adoption, and PM KUSUM for solarising agriculture. We see the future moving strongly toward all-in-one and smart series solutions that not only generate power but also store it, giving customers reliability in both urban and rural settings. Increasingly, customers will look for all-in-one inverters that combine on-grid, off-grid, and higher battery backup options within a single flexible platform.

At PVblink, we have already begun delivering such solutions and are ready to customise them as per customer requirements. Our focus is on ensuring higher generation, stronger battery support, and advanced digital monitoring with secure Indian cloud servers. With our in-house R&D and Make-in-India approach, PVblink is well-prepared to meet these evolving needs while helping India achieve its renewable energy goals.

Que: Do you plan to diversify further – perhaps into energy storage solutions?

Ans: Absolutely, diversification into energy storage solutions is one of PVblink’s key priorities. We understand that India’s clean energy journey is shifting from just generation to generation plus storage, ensuring reliability for both residential and agricultural users. Our upcoming portfolio is being built with advanced battery management; BMS is engineered and designed by PVblink and allows seamless integration into existing solar systems.

One of our unique strengths is flexibility. If a customer already owns an on-grid system, our smart switch technology allows it to be easily converted into a hybrid setup without replacing the entire inverter. This makes it easier and more cost-effective for customers to adopt storage as their energy needs grow. It also aligns with national initiatives like the KUSUM C Yojana, which promotes solarisation of grid-connected and standalone agriculture pumps. PVblink is helping both urban households and rural farmers benefit from Make-in-India solar innovation.
