Ans: EnerMAN was founded in May 2019 with an aim to digitise solar PV assets and automate the management of solar PV asset performance. EnerMAN in-house team from Bangalore built end-to-end-products comprising hardware, firmware and software based on IoT technologies with cloud platform-based web applications and mobile apps. EnerMAN built a series of innovative products required by solar PV asset owners, developers, EPC companies and O&M service providers. EnerMAN products have installed over 1.6 GW of solar PV plants in six countries covering more than 350 plants/rooftops for over 100 customers.

Ans: EnerMAN IoT SCADA product ETi-SOL, monitors the performance of key equipment 24/7 with a sampling frequency of one minute and notifies the alerts or alarm on the breakdown of equipment in a few seconds. This will help the engineers and technicians to attend the breakdown to reduce the loss of generation. EnerMAN provides analysis on inverter ranking and inverter downtime loss; this will help the engineers and technicians to take corrective action to improve the performance of low-performing inverters and take preventive action to reduce the downtime of inverters. EnerMAN products will help in improving the efficiency and generation by more than 2 percent. Our products are deployed over 1.6 GWp solar plants which will directly contribute to generating a minimum of 2 percent i.e. 45 million units additionally (which will directly contribute to 18 MT of CO2 reduction or equivalent to nurturing 7.1 lakh mature trees).

Ans: EnerMAN IoT SCADA product ETi-SOL, monitors and analyses the performance of inverters using AI and ML. The analysis report with the ranking of the inverter performance based on various KPIs. This will help asset owners, O&M site engineers and technicians to initiate the comprehensive maintenance work to improve the low-ranked inverter performance, which will enhance the performance of solar PV plants. EnerMAN provides analysis of equipment downtime, and keeps track of equipment downtime throughout its lifetime, which will help asset owners and the O&M team to take timely preventive and corrective action to reduce the downtime, which will enhance the performance of solar PV plants.

Ans: EnerMAN successfully installed many wind-solar hybrid PPC controllers in India. EnerMAN provides flexible solutions to Solar PV Park with multiple end plant owners of different capacities sharing common local HT grid infrastructure managed by EPC or developer. This will help EPC and developers to monitor all plants in the solar park as single plants with individual plants as (block/sub-group) and individual plant owners an access to only their plants as independent solar PV plants. This is implemented in many parking without adding any additional cost.

Que: What is the next big tech advancement that will redefine the clean energy transition as per you?

Ans: Maturity and affordability in energy storage technologies, EV, and green hydrogen in coming years will increase the demand for renewable energy multi-fold. EnerMAN is planning to build many innovative products to manage energy efficiently and support emerging technologies and ecosystems.
