Zypp Electric has announced the nationwide rollout of its Franchise Partner Programme. The initiative opens Zypp’s commercial electric mobility ecosystem to investors, auto dealers, distributors, quick-commerce franchise operators and regional entrepreneurs, creating a scalable model to accelerate last-mile fleet electrification across India. The programme bridges Zypp’s proprietary technology stack, national enterprise client demand and structured maintenance protocols with the local market acumen and capital of regional business owners.
A central economic pillar of the franchise offering is Zypp’s operational benchmark of 90-95 percent fleet utilisation. Driven by FleetEase.ai—Zypp’s proprietary fleet operating system the platform leverages real-time IoT telematics, predictive battery diagnostics, smart maintenance alerts and automated driver dispatch to sustain continuous uptime, ensuring partner assets remain income-generating and protected against idle capacity.
Operating an active fleet of 31,000 plus electric two-wheelers across 8 cities, including franchise partners across Jaipur, Rohtak, Hyderabad and Gurgaon. By integrating franchise partners into its existing logistics ecosystem, Zypp enables operators to deploy commercial two-wheelers with immediate access to contracted delivery volume across quick-commerce, hyperlocal delivery and e-commerce platforms.
Speaking on the launch of the franchise model, Akash Gupta, Co-Founder and CEO, Zypp Electric, said, “Over the past few years, having deployed more than 31,000 electric vehicles and powered over 100 million deliveries, we have proven that sustainable last-mile logistics at scale requires an uncompromising focus on unit economics, asset uptime and deep technology integration. Within the launch of this model, in last 45 days, we have successfully opened 4 franchise models and are getting huge number of requests to open franchise in several other markets. This way, we can catchup our EV expansion in 100 plus markets where quick commerce and food delivery are already thriving. As the explosive growth of quick commerce and on-demand delivery grows beyond metro markets into high-density regional cities, the commercial need for high-reliability EV fleets is accelerating exponentially.”
Our franchise model serves as a collaborative growth engine toward our broader vision of a Gig Mobility Operating System. By arming local business owners and quick-commerce operators with FleetEase.ai, established enterprise client demand, and our benchmark 90-95 percent fleet utilisation, we are enabling them to run high-uptime, profitable mobility businesses from Day 1. Crucially, this model allows us to decentralise clean miles while extending flexible, technology-enabled livelihoods to thousands of new gig workers across emerging India.”
The Zypp franchise ecosystem is built around five key pillars aimed at supporting fleet partners and expanding electric mobility operations. Franchise partners gain access to Zypp’s existing commercial delivery network across quick-commerce, hyperlocal grocery, e-commerce and food delivery platforms, helping drive vehicle utilisation and revenue generation. The ecosystem also provides access to the company’s proprietary fleet operating system, FleetEase.ai, which enables real-time IoT tracking, cloud-based fleet monitoring, algorithmic rider-vehicle allocation and predictive battery diagnostics.
To maintain fleet availability and operational efficiency, Zypp offers support for routine servicing, technician training, charging infrastructure planning and access to OEM spare parts. The company also plans to expand its franchise network into emerging Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets, including Lucknow, Surat, Indore, Bhopal, Vijayawada, Kochi, Nagpur and Visakhapatnam, where demand for rapid delivery services is increasing. The franchise model also aims to generate employment opportunities in non-metro regions.
