RenewSys has announced a supply agreement with ZNShine Solarworld, a wholly owned subsidiary of Solarworld Energy Solutions for the solar encapsulants. The contract, signed by RenewSys and ZNShine Solarworld, covers a volume of 400 MW to be supplied between November 2025 through February 2026. The agreement underscores the growing preference for advanced and high-efficiency encapsulation materials as module manufacturers worldwide transition to next-generation cell technologies.
RenewSys’s EPE encapsulants engineered for PID resistance, durability and long-term reliability are designed to support high-efficiency architectures such as TOPCon.
Speaking on the collaboration, Peeyush Salwan, President, Solarworld, stated, “With our new manufacturing setup coming online, we are pleased to partner with RenewSys for a long-term supply of high-quality encapsulants. Their reliability, technical expertise, and commitment to consistent product performance make them an ideal partner as we scale our operations and deliver superior modules to our customers.”
The partnership reinforces both companies’ dedication to strengthening the global solar manufacturing ecosystem. As the demand for high-performance PV modules continues to grow, collaborations like this play an essential role in ensuring both technological consistency and long-term supply assurance.
Avinash Hiranandani, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, RenewSys, added, “This 400 MW agreement reflects the confidence ZN Shine Solarworld has placed in our EPE technology. As the solar industry moves decisively toward high-efficiency modules, we are proud to support global manufacturers with world-class encapsulants engineered and produced in India. Our commitment remains firmly rooted in driving innovation, reliability and a resilient solar value chain.”
