Indian power-electronics company Zenergize has launched a 15 kW three-phase grid-tied solar inverter, expanding its portfolio into higher-capacity residential and small commercial solar applications.

The inverter was unveiled at Infineon Technologies’ annual OktoberTech event in Bengaluru, where Zenergize was also announced as an Infineon partner.

The new product builds on Zenergize’s existing 3 kW and 5 kW silicon carbide (SiC)-based solar inverters, including deployments under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana. The company said that the 15 kW inverter is aimed at larger homes, villas, institutions and small commercial establishments with higher power requirements.

The inverter offers a maximum efficiency of 98.5 percent and conversion efficiency of 98.2 percent. It supports a maximum PV input of 20 kWp and has three maximum power point tracking (MPPT) trackers for solar system configuration flexibility.

Designed for Indian grid and climatic conditions, the inverter operates across a temperature range of -25°C to 55°C and has IP65 protection. It also includes integrated electrical and grid-safety features.

Navneet Daga, Co-founder and CEO of Zenergize, said that the company was expanding beyond conventional residential installations to larger homes, institutions and small businesses with higher energy requirements.

The launch also strengthens Zenergize’s technology partnership with Infineon Technologies. According to the company, its second-generation inverter platform uses SiC technology to reduce power losses and improve thermal performance and efficiency.

Daga said that the partnership combines Zenergize’s application and system-level capabilities with Infineon’s semiconductor expertise for developing power-electronics products.

The partnership and product unveiling took place during Infineon’s OktoberTech event in Bengaluru, which brought together companies and technology leaders across energy, power and infrastructure, mobility, and AI, IoT and deep-tech sectors.

Zenergize said that  it is continuing to expand its power-electronics portfolio across solar energy and electric mobility, with a focus on locally engineered and manufactured products.
