Zelio E-Mobility Commissions Odisha Plant, Lifts EV Capacity from 72,000 to 1.8 Lakh Units Annually

Zelio E-Mobility Ltd. has  announced the commissioning of its Odisha manufacturing plant, boosting total electric vehicle production capacity from 72,000 units to 1.8 lakh units annually.

At its Ladwa, Hisar facility in Haryana, Zelio enhanced installed capacity from 72,000 units to 1.2 lakh units per annum through process-level optimisation, including the installation of an extended conveyor belt and additional machinery, with minimal incremental capital expenditure.

With this expansion, the company’s total installed production capacity has increased from 72,000 units per annum to 1.8 lakh units per annum. The expansion has been funded through internal accruals and existing resources.

The capacity addition is aimed at strengthening the company’s manufacturing footprint, improving supply chain efficiency, and meeting rising demand for sustainable mobility solutions across India. The enhanced production capability is expected to contribute positively to operational performance.
