YPF Luz will build its fourth wind farm in the country. Located in the town of General Levalle, 380 km south of the city of Córdoba, it will have an installed capacity of 155 MW, equivalent to the consumption of more than 190,000 homes.

With an approximate investment of more than 260 million dollars , construction will last approximately 20 months, creating employment for more than 300 people during construction and generating an increase in local economic activity through the demand for indirect services and local suppliers.

General Levalle will have a capacity factor of more than 50% and will avoid the emission of more than 350,000 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent per year. The park will have 25 installed wind turbines of 6.2 MW each, in a total area of 4,360 hectares.

“This year YPF Luz celebrates 10 years of generating renewable, efficient and sustainable energy from different parts of the country, with a clear federal vision and betting on generating more and better energy throughout the country. With General Levalle there are already 7 provinces in which we are present, strengthening our commitment to the growth of the national energy matrix and promoting the evolution of energy for the well-being of people", said Martín Mandarano, CEO of YPF Luz.

General Levalle is the company's fourth wind farm and will be added to the Manantiales Behr wind farms, located in Chubut and operating since 2018; Los Teros, launched in 2020 and located in Azul, province of Buenos Aires; and Cañadón León, launched in 2021 and located in Cañadón Seco, Santa Cruz.
