Yatindra Dwivedi Takes Charge as Director (Personnel) of Power Grid

With the experience of more than thirty-three years, Dr. Yatindra Dwivedi has played a significant role in aligning HR strategy with the company’s growth.

One of India’s largest electricity transmission utilities, Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL), has announced that Dr. Yatindra Dwivedi has assumed the charge of Director (Personnel) of the company. Currently serving as Executive Director (HR) of Power Grid, Dr. Yatindra Dwivedi was recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel in June from a list of seven candidates.

As Director (Personnel) of Power Grid, Dwivedi will be a member of the Board of Directors. He will be in charge of coordinating and implementing personnel and industrial relations policies, administrative control and management functions.

With the experience of more than thirty-three years, Dr. Yatindra Dwivedi has played a significant role in aligning HR strategy with the company’s growth. He joined Power Grid almost two decades ago.

An IITian, Dwivedi graduated from IIT Roorkee and holds Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Engineering from NITIE Mumbai (IIM Mumbai), PGDM from MDI Gurgaon and a Doctorate in Management. He has worked with Hindalco Industries.
