WiseEnergy Inks Multi-Yr Asset Management Deal with Actis for its 400 MW Solar Portfolio
UK-based solar asset manager WiseEnergy has signed a multi-year partnership agreement with Actis, a leading investor in Indian renewables where it invests through Actis Long Life Infrastructure Fund (ALLIF) and Actis Energy Funds.

UK-based solar asset manager WiseEnergy has signed a multi-year partnership agreement with Actis, a leading investor in Indian renewables where it invests through Actis Long Life Infrastructure Fund (ALLIF) and Actis Energy Funds.
As per the deal, WiseEnergy will provide comprehensive Asset Management Services for a 550 MWp (400 MW AC) solar portfolio that ALLIF has recently acquired in India.
Commenting on the securing the project, Rebecca Carter, Global Managing Director, WiseEnergy, said “this agreement represents a major milestone for WiseEnergy.”
“Not only does it increase our presence in India, one of our key growth markets, it also establishes our partnership with Actis. We are honoured that Actis chose WiseEnergy to manage its newly acquired solar plants in India and are excited about the growth possibilities this brings for both parties in the future,” she added.
“Beginning from July 2020, WiseEnergy will provide end-to-end asset management services, including financial, commercial and technical management, for two projects (four plants in total) located in the states of Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh,” added Pratik Gh, Global Head of Business Development, WiseEnergy.
Recently in August, Actis has completed the acquisition of two solar projects in India totalling 400 MW from Acme Solar Holdings Ltd. These projects are located in the Indian states of Andhra Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh respectively.
