Websol Energy System Secures INR 172 Crore Orders for 85.5 MW Solar Modules
Websol Energy System has secured 85.5 MW of solar module orders worth INR 172 crore from Bekem Infra Projects, Sri Avantika Contractors and Kosol Energie, with deliveries scheduled by May 2026.

Kolkata-based solar modules and cells manufacturer Websol Energy System has announced that the company has secured three purchase orders, totalling 85.5 MW for solar modules, from Bekem Infra Projects, Sri Avantika Contractors and Kosol Energie.
These orders, valued at INR 172 crore, are currently in production and are scheduled for delivery by May 2026, the company stated.
Commenting on the business updates, Sohan Lal Agarwal, Managing Director, Websol Energy System, said, “These new orders reflect the confidence our partners place in Websol's capabilities and reinforce our position in the Indian solar market. We are committed to the timely execution of our client orders and to supporting India's renewable energy goals.”
The company also clarified that the recently imposed US tariffs on solar imports will have no impact on Websol's operations, as the company does not currently have exports to the US.
Websol operate a manufacturing facility located at Falta Special Economic Zone in West Bengal with a current solar cell capacity of 1,200 MW and module capacity of 550 MW. Recently, the company secured Andhra Pradesh government approval for a greenfield 4 GW solar cell and module manufacturing project at Naidupeta, in the Tirupati district of Andhra Pradesh.
