The West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company (WBSEDCL) has announced that it has issued an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the appointment of reputed consultants for the 125 MW Phase – I and the 75 MW Phase – II solar projects to be located at Dadanpatrabar, Mania and Dkshin Purusottampur in West Bengal.
The scope of work for the selected bidder will be to provide consultancy services for detailed planning, preparation of tender document, bid evaluation, design engineering review, and supervision of preparation work of the two solar projects. The scope of work will also include, but not be limited to, construction monitoring services during project execution in compliance with technical specifications, an inspection of performance of works, witness and assist in certification of quality tests, an on-site physical inspection of the equipment.
The last date for submission of EOI responses is January 20, 2019, and the techno-commercial bids will be opened on January 22, 2019. A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for January 14, 2019, to address the concerns raised by the prospective bidders.
To be eligible, the consultant must have working experience of completion of similar types of projects/ works related to civil infrastructural development during the last ten years. And they must have an average annual turnover for consultancy services of similar type of projects/ works not less than Rs 12 lakh in the last three consecutive financial years.
