WBSEDCL Invites Bids for 40 MW Solar Projects' Operation and Maintenance

West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company (WBSEDCL) has initiated a tender for the comprehensive operation and maintenance of 40 MW ground-mounted solar projects spread across four locations.
The projects, each with a capacity of 10 MW, are situated at Tail Race Canal, Haptiagachh in Uttar Dinajpur, along the Teesta Canal Bank in Uttar Dinajpur, in Salboni, Paschim Medinipur, and Khemasuli in Medinipur.
The tender, open for submission until December 12, 2023, includes a requirement for bidders to submit a bid security of INR 360,000. The estimated cost of the projects is INR 5,40,00000.
To be eligible, bidders must have completed a contract for the installation and commissioning of at least one 10 MW or larger grid-connected solar project in the last five years. Alternatively, they should possess experience in the comprehensive operation and maintenance of a grid-connected 10 MW or larger solar project for a minimum of one year within the last five years.
