WBGEDCL Releases Tender for Solar Rooftop Projects in West Bengal

The scale of work includes design & engineering, manufacture / procurement, testing, supply, installation and commissioning including five years comprehensive maintenance on turnkey basis

West Bengal Green Energy Development Corporation (WBGEDCL) has announced that it has floated tender for Rooftop Grid Connected Solar PV Power Plants to be installed in Jhargram and Purulia District of West Bengal.

The end date for the submission of bid is January 11, 2018. WBGEDCL has mentioned in the tender that 60 of these solar rooftop systems each of 10 KWp capacity are to be installed.

The scale of work includes design & engineering, manufacture / procurement, testing, supply, installation and commissioning including five years comprehensive maintenance on turnkey basis.

The project will have to be completed within 150 days from the date of placement of letter of award.The tender document further cites that conglomerate, joint venture or sub-contractor for this work will not be considered.

WBGEDCL endorses different grid connected renewable energy based power projects through PPP mode and also make certain investment of private sector in Renewable Energy.

Lately, West Bengal Renewable Energy Development Agency had issued a tender for 2MW of grid-connected solar-rooftop projects to be developed in the state.
