WattPower in collaboration with Aditya Green Energy Pvt Ltd, hosted Watt Tech Nexus in Latur, Maharashtra.

The technical session focused on LCOE (Levelised Cost of Energy) optimization through system design, attracting participation from solar developers, design engineers, and project consultants.

The core sessions delved into how upstream design decisions directly influence long-term project viability. Speakers highlighted the impact of layout configuration, component selection, and system sizing on both performance and cost. Particular emphasis was placed on integrating simulation tools such as PowerFactory to improve reactive power management and ensure grid compatibility, key considerations for maintaining system efficiency over time.

Drawing from active KUSUM projects in Maharashtra, Rajasthan, and Gujarat, the discussion brought forward practical insights from the field. Presenters shared how local conditions—ranging from terrain profiles to load patterns—necessitate nuanced design approaches, reinforcing the view that LCOE optimisation is not one-size-fits-all but begins at the design table. These field learnings, backed by data and field performance, offered attendees actionable takeaways to enhance system returns across diverse project environments.

Commenting on the session, Divya Prakash Choraria, CEO and Co-Founder of WattPower, “As the energy landscape evolves, it’s clear that impact begins with better design. Our vision at WattPower is to build systems that are not only technically sound but also economically and socially meaningful. Through platforms like Watt Tech Nexus, we aim to bridge on-ground realities with practical innovation—helping developers deliver smarter, more resilient solar solutions where they’re needed most.”

Vipul Joisher, Director of Aditya Green Energy Pvt Ltd, added, “Design innovation is key to unlocking greater value from every solar project. Partnering with WattPower, who bring deep technical expertise and a forward-thinking approach, allows us to translate ideas into real-world impact more effectively.”

The session concluded with an engaging Q&A, where attendees interacted with domain experts to address real-world project challenges and share practical approaches for implementation.

WattPower and Aditya Green Energy remain committed to deepening their collaboration, with a shared focus on delivering innovative, efficient, and scalable solar solutions tailored to local needs, supporting India’s broader transition to clean and sustainable energy.
