Waaree Retains No.1 Solar Module Spot in Apr-Jun 25 quarter

The April-June 2025 quarter saw India add 4.2 GW of new utility-scale solar capacity and 1.3 GW of rooftop installations, pushing the country’s cumulative solar capacity to 91 GW.

Waaree Energies has once again topped the charts as the No. 1 solar module supplier in India, capturing 14 per cent market share in H1 FY2025, according to the latest JMK Research and Analytics Q2 2025 Solar Report. This achievement cements the company’s position at the forefront of India’s renewable energy expansion and underscores its pivotal role in driving the nation’s energy independence.

The April-June 2025 quarter saw India add 4.2 GW of new utility-scale solar capacity and 1.3 GW of rooftop installations, pushing the country’s cumulative solar capacity to 91 GW. With another 70+ GW of projects under development, India is firmly on track to meet its 500 GW renewable energy target by 2030.
