Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd. (WRTL) has secured a Letter of Award (LOA) for the execution of a 300 MW/450 MWp ground-mounted solar project under an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract from Sunsational Power Pvt. Ltd. SPPL), its wholly owned subsidiary.
The contract also includes two years of operation and maintenance (O&M) services, with project completion scheduled during FY 2026-27. As per the firm, the latest order strengthens WRTL’s growing solar EPC portfolio and adds to its strong pipeline of utility-scale renewable energy projects.
The company has been actively expanding its order book through multiple solar and energy storage contracts over the past year. In May 2026, WRTL secured a turnkey EPC order for a 350 MW/1400 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project with two years of O&M services, marking a significant expansion into energy storage infrastructure.
The company is also broadening its presence in power infrastructure. Earlier this year, WRTL signed agreements to acquire a 55 percent stake in Associated Power Structures Pvt. Ltd. for INR 1,225 crore, enabling its entry into the grid and transmission infrastructure segment.
Financially, the company has maintained strong momentum. For FY26, revenue from operations more than doubled to INR 3,331.42 crore, while profit after tax rose 109 percent year-on-year to INR 478.65 crore, supported by robust project execution and growing demand for renewable energy solutions.
