Waaree Renewable Technologies Secures 124 MWp Solar EPC Order

Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd. (WRTL), a subsidiary of Waaree Energies Ltd, has received a Letter of Award (LOA) for the execution of Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) works for a 124 MWp (88 MWac) ground mounted solar photovoltaic project.

The company received the LOA from a domestic renewable energy company. The order is classified as a commercial order and involves the development of a ground mounted solar PV project with an order size of 124 MWp, equivalent to 88 MWac.

According to the company’s regulatory filing, the project is scheduled to be completed during the financial year 2026-27, in accordance with the terms of the order.

The award further expands Waaree Renewable Technologies’ EPC project portfolio as the company continues to undertake utility scale solar development and execution activities in India. 

The company’s Q1 FY27 performance also remained strong, with revenue from operations rising 53.23 percent year on year to INR 924.25 crore, while profit before tax increased 40.16 percent to INR 163.39 crore. These developments highlight continued project execution and growth in its renewable energy portfolio.
