Waaree Renewable Technologies Bags EPC Orders for 800 MWac Solar Projects

Waaree Renewable Technologies has secured two EPC contracts for the execution of 800 MWac/1,082 MWp ground-mounted solar PV projects, scheduled for completion during FY 2027-28.

Waaree Renewable Technologies (WRTL), the EPC arm of the Waaree Group, has announced that the company has received two letters of award (LOAs) for the execution of EPC works for 800 MWac/1,082 MWp solar projects.

It includes two ground-mounted Solar PV plants of 400 MWac/530 MWp and 400 MWac/552 MWp capacity. The project is scheduled to be completed during FY 2027-28, stated the company in a regulatory filing.

In Q1 FY27, Waaree Renewable Technologies reported revenue of INR 924.25 crore and profit after tax of INR 118.97 crore in Q1 FY27, registering year-on-year growth of 53.23 percent and 37.70 percent, respectively.

The company's consolidated unexecuted order book stood at over INR 5,300 crore. Its bidding pipeline remains robust, comprising more than 37 GWp of solar projects, over 10 GWh of battery energy storage system (BESS) projects, and transmission and distribution (T&D) opportunities worth over INR 20,000 crore, stated the company.
