Waaree Renewable Technologies announced that it has bagged a 6.5 MW DC (5 MW AC) solar power project, commissioned by the energy arm of a leading Steel and Power Conglomerate in Chhattisgarh, India.

It will implement engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) work for the project and will also facilitate operation and maintenance (O&M) support for the period of five years from the date of commissioning.

The project will develop in the area of a 23-acre plot in Chhattisgarh. The power produced by the project will be evacuated at the 33 kV level and injected into the existing 33 kV Switchyard.

Waaree Renewable Technologies, a solar EPC subsidiary of Waaree Group, also finances, constructs, owns, and operates solar projects. It provides clean energy to its customers by setting up both on-site solar projects (rooftop and ground-mounted) and off-site solar farms.

This prestigious project highlights WRTL’s skill in the renewable energy space and underlines its commitment to sustainable power solutions.

The company’s alliance with the energy arm of the Steel and Power Conglomerate marks a significant milestone in the company’s step towards a greener future.
