Waaree Renewable Bags Solar EPC Contract for Steel Major in Chattisgarh

Waaree Renewable Technologies announced that it has bagged a 6.5 MW DC (5 MW AC) solar power project, commissioned by the energy arm of a leading Steel and Power Conglomerate in Chhattisgarh, India.
It will implement engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) work for the project and will also facilitate operation and maintenance (O&M) support for the period of five years from the date of commissioning.
The project will develop in the area of a 23-acre plot in Chhattisgarh. The power produced by the project will be evacuated at the 33 kV level and injected into the existing 33 kV Switchyard.
Waaree Renewable Technologies, a solar EPC subsidiary of Waaree Group, also finances, constructs, owns, and operates solar projects. It provides clean energy to its customers by setting up both on-site solar projects (rooftop and ground-mounted) and off-site solar farms.
