Waaree Li-Ion Batteries to Power Zypp Electric’s E-Scooter Fleet

Waaree Energy Storage System (WESS), the energy storage division of Waaree Group, has entered into a partnership with electric vehicle (EV) startup Zypp Electric to supply lithium-ion (Li-Ion) batteries for the latter’s two-wheeler category.

Waaree Energy Storage System (WESS), the energy storage division of Waaree Group, has entered into a partnership with electric vehicle (EV) startup Zypp Electric to supply lithium-ion (Li-Ion) batteries for the latter’s two-wheeler category.

This partnership is expected to bolster Zypp Electric’s per day shipment with optimal costs.

Under the agreement, Waaree ESS will supply next-generation IoT enabled smart Li-Ion batteries with remote monitoring solution to ensure seamless operations and cost efficiency.

Commenting on the partnership, Shiv Nath, MD of Waaree ESS, said, “Waaree Energy Storage System is committed to revolutionizing and accelerating growth of automotive electrification in India.
