Waaree is now a Tier 1 Solar Module Manufacturer

Waaree Energies Ltd, No.1 Indian Solar Module Manufacturer is now awarded the status of Tier 1 Solar Module Manufacturer. Tier 1 status makes Waaree Solar panels acceptable for non-recourse financing by banks i.e. “bankable”.  Waaree has one of the India’s largest state of the art 500MW manufacturing facilities.

Speaking on this Achievement Waaree Energies CMD Mr. Hitesh Doshi Said, “Financing is currently one of the greatest hurdles to implementing photovoltaic projects, with banks generally only providing finance to very high-quality projects.  Tier 1 Status of Waaree along with continued efforts on quality shall lead to a further ease financing processes for our customers globally (project developers and EPC contractors). I would like to thank the trust placed in us by banks, investors and a customer has resulted in us receiving the tier 1 status.”

Waaree has been named as number one Indian solar Module manufacturer for two consecutive years, and now awarded Tier.1 Status. It is awarded to a company to prove they are able to provide own-brand, self-made products to five different projects that are non-recourse financed by five different (non-development) banks.
