Waaree Energies Ltd has secured a 350 MW solar module supply order from AMPIN Energy Transition, marking a repeat partnership between the two renewable energy players. The deal follows a 210 MW order placed by AMPIN in October 2025, underscoring the developer’s continued confidence in Waaree’s technology and manufacturing capabilities.
Under the agreement, Waaree will supply high-efficiency G12R TOPCon modules for AMPIN’s upcoming solar projects across India, with deliveries scheduled for completion by March 2026. The modules will support AMPIN’s expanding renewable pipeline and its broader push to accelerate clean energy deployment nationwide.
AMPIN Energy Transition Founder, MD & CEO, Pinaki Bhattacharyya, said the association reinforces the company’s strategy of adopting advanced, high-performance solar technologies. He noted that Waaree’s G12R modules meet AMPIN’s quality standards and align with its long-term sustainability goals.
Sunil Rathi, Executive Director, Waaree Energies, said that the 350 MW order reflects the growing preference for domestically manufactured, future-ready solar technologies. He added that the G12R modules, engineered for higher energy yield, improved low-light performance, and long-term reliability, are suited for both utility-scale and C&I installations.
Waaree’s G12R TOPCon modules are designed for superior bifaciality, higher energy density, optimized LCOE, and consistent performance across diverse climatic zones.
The project is expected to displace around 407,000 tonnes of CO₂ annually once commissioned, based on CEA Baseline Database v20.0 (Dec 2024), further contributing to India’s 500 GW renewable energy target.
