Waaree Energies Ltd.'s wholly owned subsidiary, Sangam Solar One Pvt. Ltd., has commenced operations at a new solar module manufacturing facility in Gujarat.

The firm said in its filing that the facility is located at Samakhiali in Kutch district and comprises two solar module production lines with an annual capacity of 750 MW each, taking the total installed capacity to 1,500 MW.

The latest commissioning adds to Waaree’s rapidly expanding domestic manufacturing base and supports India’s push to localise solar equipment production. The company has been consistently scaling up capacity across modules and cells, positioning itself as one of the country’s leading integrated solar manufacturers.

In recent months, Waaree has also reported strong order inflows from domestic and international markets, alongside progress on capacity expansion initiatives aligned with government-backed manufacturing incentives.
