Waaree Energies Secures Additional 212 MW International Solar Module Order

Waaree Energies Ltd. has secured an additional 212 MW international order for the supply of solar modules, increasing its total commitment from the same overseas customer to 562 MW. The company disclosed the development in a regulatory filing.

The latest order is an addition to an existing 350 MW contract awarded by the customer. Module supplies under the one time contract are scheduled for execution during FY 2026-27. While Waaree confirmed that the buyer is an international entity engaged in owning and operating utility scale renewable energy projects, it did not disclose the customer's identity or the financial value of the order.

The fresh order further strengthens Waaree's international order book and reinforces its presence in the global solar module market, taking its overall supply commitment to the customer from 350 MW to 562 MW.

The order follows a series of developments by the company over the past month as it continues to expand its international footprint and manufacturing capabilities. On June 30, 2026, Waaree's US subsidiary, Waaree Solar Americas, secured a 236.22 MW solar module supply contract for a utility scale solar project in Kentucky. The modules for the project will be manufactured at the company's facility in Brookshire, Texas.

Separately, Waaree ESS inaugurated a 5.15 GWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) container manufacturing facility, marking the company's entry into large scale energy storage manufacturing and broadening its integrated clean energy portfolio.
