Waaree Energies Ltd. has secured an order to supply 500 MW of solar modules from a reputed domestic solar power developer operating as an Independent Power Producer (IPP), according to a regulatory filing.

The order, awarded by a domestic entity, is a one-time contract and will be executed during FY 2026–27. While the customer’s name has not been disclosed, the company described it as a well-known player in the solar power generation segment. The contract involves the supply of solar modules and adds to Waaree’s growing order book in the domestic market.

The development is expected to support Waaree Energies’ manufacturing operations and strengthen its footprint in India’s rapidly expanding renewable energy sector. With large-scale solar capacity additions planned across the country, demand for domestically manufactured modules continues to remain strong. The company said details of the order would be made available on its official website.
