Waaree Energies Ltd commissions 10 MW project under JNNSM, DCR for Sharda Contructions

Waaree Energies Ltd. has announced the commissioning of its 10 MW solar power plant for Sharda Construction and Corporation Pvt Ltd (SCCPL).
The project located at Latur, Maharashtra was allotted to SCCPL under the Domestic Content Requirement (DCR) category of Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission’s Phase 2, Batch 1. The EPC contract was awarded to Mumbai based, Waaree Energies Limited to design and execute the project by SCCPL. The project was completed by Waaree energies Limited in less than 90 days even in the face of challenging conditions.
Speaking at the occasion Mr Hitesh Doshi, CMD Waaree Energies Ltd said “We had to face few challenges like undulated land and an extreme slope with a catchment area at the bottom which added to the design complexity. We are proud to share that the plant performance till date is as expected and it is a proof of Waaree’s design and engineering capability. This project is a hallmark of our growing capability in the field of solar."
