To engage and gratify its partner EPC firms, solar module manufacturer Waaree Energies has launched a first-of-its-kind app in the solar sector named ‘Waaree Prime’.

The company said that, this ‘Waaree Prime App’ aimed to appreciate and reward the community who work relentlessly to ensure solar power reaches the country’s remotest corners.

Currently, Waaree has a growing strength of 5,000 engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) partners across the country.

Through this app, the company has targeted to penetrate a larger geographical radius, expanding its community to reach 10,000 EPC companies in a year.

The app functions on a simple rewards program model that enables these EPC companies to become members and redeem awards on the app upon purchasing modules from any Waaree authorised store/franchise.

To become prime members, the app will route the companies to complete the free registration process, necessary protocols, and KYC.

On becoming a member of Waaree Prime, the members can collect and add points by scanning QR codes on every module purchased.

Thus, members can optimise the benefits of their purchases and redeem earned points to buy vouchers and gifts of an equivalent amount from over 500 brands available on the Waaree Prime app.

The app is currently available in three languages i.e. English, Hindi and Gujarati on Android app store.

Commenting on the app launch, Dr. Hitesh Doshi, Chairman and Managing Director, Waaree Group, said “we at Waaree Group value and recognise the unwavering efforts of our stakeholders across all levels. Waaree Prime is a token of appreciation to our EPC partners who ensure solarising the remotest corners of India. Their contribution has enabled a widespread adaptation of solar that has transformed and strengthened the overall energy ecosystem.”

Through Waaree Prime, the company aspires to encourage more people to join the integrator and distributor community and steer the country to reach its ambitious target of 450 GW by 2030.
