Waaree Energies Commissions 3.05 GW Solar Inverter Manufacturing Facility in Gujarat

Waaree Energies Ltd. has commissioned a 3.05 GW solar inverter manufacturing facility through its wholly owned subsidiary, Waaree Power Pvt. Ltd. at Sarodhi in Valsad district of Gujarat.

The facility comprises two manufacturing lines with an annual capacity of 1.525 GW each. Commercial operations at the plant commenced on December 29, 2025, the company said in a regulatory filing.

With the commissioning of the new facility, Waaree aims to strengthen its domestic manufacturing footprint and support the growing demand for solar power infrastructure in India.

It may be recalled that the company’s solar cell facility at Chikhli, Gujarat, began trial production in early January 2025, followed by the start of commercial operations from the initial 1.4 GW Mono PERC line in February 2025. The full 5.4 GW gigafactory was formally inaugurated and became operational on March 29, 2025.
