Waaree Energies Collaborates with Amul for Providing Solar Rooftop Solutions

Waaree Energies has announced that it has associated with Amul for providing rooftop solar solutions at Amul’s warehouse facility in Gandhinagar. The company has installed its modules at the warehouse facility.

Amul is a brand of the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing federation, the leading such federation of milk producers in the world. With most products sold under the brand AMUL, GCMMF is extensively accredited for the white revolution in India.  For GCMMF Limited, the shift to go solar, although slowly is perhaps a natural extension of the efforts it makes to stay at the forefront of the curve  as a responsible corporate.

As per company sources, the commissioned plant has been developed for captive consumption, and Waaree Energies serves as a turnkey Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) associate to the brand.

Additionally, the rooftop solar installations are stretch across roof of Amul and it will provide power to run automated warehousing machines at its warehouse.

Furthermore, this plant uses Waaree’s 320 Wp poly crystalline modules and was executed in a record time frame.The plant is projected to generate 200 units per day.
