The fiscal year 2025 marked a transformative period for India's solar sector, with the country adding an impressive 17.4 GW of utility-scale solar capacity alongside 5.1 GW of rooftop installations. India's cumulative solar capacity reached a milestone of 85.5 GW by March 2025, with an additional 68.2 GW in the pipeline, positioning the country firmly on track to meet its ambitious renewable energy targets.
