Solfin Sustainable Finance Pvt. Ltd., a solar-focused NBFC backed by Waaree Energies, has entered into a co-lending partnership with a leading Japanese financial institution to accelerate access to solar finance across India.
The collaboration aims to provide working capital loans for solar panel dealers and rooftop solar loans for consumers, ensuring quicker and more affordable financing solutions. By combining Solfin’s deep solar sector expertise with the Japanese lender’s capital strength, the tie-up is expected to scale renewable adoption across both urban and rural markets.
The co-lending model is structured to deliver competitive interest rates and improved credit access, catering to the growing financing needs of India’s expanding solar ecosystem.
