Vsole Solar Launches STORIO – A Smart, Scalable Energy Storage System for C&I Sector at REI 2025
Vsole Solar has unveiled STORIO, its next-generation indoor Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Energy Storage System (ESS), at the Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo 2025.

Gujarat-based solar inverter manufacturer Vsole Solar Energy has launched STORIO, its next-generation indoor Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Energy Storage System (ESS) at the Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo 2025.
The STORIO system brings together an Energy Management System (EMS), Power Conversion System (PCS), and Battery Management System (BMS) into a single, compact, modular, and scalable unit.

Engineered to act as an intelligent energy companion, STORIO does more than store electricity — it learns when to store and when to release it, optimising performance while lowering operational costs. Its modular design allows scalability up to 2 MW/4.3 MWh, enabling businesses to expand capacity as their energy needs grow.
“STORIO is the brain and backbone of an energy ecosystem. It’s designed to capture and store excess solar or even grid energy during off-peak hours when electricity is cheaper and demand is low. Then, when your facility needs it most, say during peak hours or a power outage, STORIO automatically discharges that stored energy to keep operations running seamlessly,” explained Sojitra.
Each STORIO unit offers an energy capacity of 214.5 kWh (193 kWh usable) and uses Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) batteries known for their safety, reliability, and long life. The system operates efficiently in extreme conditions, from -20°C to 55°C and up to 3,000 metres altitude, and incorporates aerosol-based fire suppression for enhanced safety. Cloud-based intelligent management and USB-enabled upgrades provide real-time monitoring and seamless control for users.
The integrated PCS ensures smooth conversion between AC and DC, delivering clean and stable power with less than 3 percent harmonic distortion. Meanwhile, the Static Transfer Switch (STS) enables millisecond-level switching between solar, battery, and grid power sources, guaranteeing uninterrupted operations. The Maximum Power Point Tracker (MPPT) further enhances system efficiency by continuously optimising solar input, achieving conversion efficiencies of up to 99 percent.
STORIO is designed for wide-ranging applications across commercial buildings (malls, hospitals, hotels, offices, data centres), industrial facilities (manufacturing units, cold storage, factories), data centers, institutional campuses, and renewable energy setups. It supports key functions such as peak shaving, load management, energy arbitrage, renewable integration, and grid stabilisation — all essential for modern C&I users seeking resilience and cost efficiency.
By intelligently integrating with solar PV systems through MPPT modules that feed DC energy to PCS, STORIO captures excess solar energy during the day, stores it, and releases it during high-demand or non-sunlight hours, enabling 24/7 renewable energy utilisation.
