Volks Energie has expanded its operational footprint across India’s North-Eastern region, executing a series of strategic energy and infrastructure projects aligned with national development priorities, the company said in its statement.

The expansion spans key states including Nagaland, Assam and Tripura, with projects undertaken for major institutions such as Oil India, NIT Nagaland, Grid Controller of India, Indradhanush Gas Grid Limited (IGGL) and the Border Security Force (BSF).

Among the recent deployments, Volks Energie delivered advanced HVAC infrastructure at NIT Nagaland to support modern academic facilities, while energy system integrations were completed for Grid Controller of India in Guwahati to enhance grid stability and power reliability.

The company also provided engineering services at Oil India’s Duliajan operations, focusing on improved energy efficiency and safety. In the clean energy segment, Volks supported the Nagaland–Imphal gas pipeline project for IGGL, aimed at strengthening gas-based infrastructure and regional industrial growth.

In Tripura, Volks commissioned a solar power plant integrated with battery energy storage for BSF facilities, enhancing renewable energy adoption and operational reliability in critical border infrastructure.

Commenting on the expansion, Piyush Goyal, Co-founder and CEO of Volks Energie, said that the North-East represents a significant opportunity for sustainable infrastructure development and energy transformation. He added that the company remains committed to contributing to nation-building through resilient and future-ready energy solutions.

Arjun Rathi, Co-founder and COO, noted that while the region presents logistical and geographical challenges, the company has ensured timely execution through robust planning and on-ground coordination. He said that the projects are expected to strengthen local communities and infrastructure resilience.

As part of its regional growth strategy, Volks Energie has also increased local partnerships to support operational execution and manpower requirements across project sites.
