Australian tech firm InSky Robotics is set to establish its first GCC facility, VIM Solar Robotics, in Al Hamra, Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. This new facility will focus on assembling, storing, and supplying VIM Solar Robotics' VOLTIMATE robotic cleaners, which are designed for automated solar farm cleaning.

The VOLTIMATE robots, known for their durability and long lifespan exceeding 20 years, are engineered without batteries or complex electronics, making them resilient to harsh weather conditions. Their standardised components streamline servicing and cut down on maintenance costs.

Aleksei Ermishin, CEO of VIM Solar Robotics, expressed enthusiasm about the new venture, saying, "We are excited to launch VIM Solar Robotics in Ras Al Khaimah. The VOLTIMATE technology addresses the GCC's growing need for efficient, low-maintenance robotic cleaning solutions. Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) has been pivotal in our setup, offering essential support that aligns with our high-tech requirements."

Ermishin further noted the strategic advantages of the location,as he said, "RAKEZ’s support and the emirate’s rapid growth made Ras Al Khaimah an ideal choice for our GCC expansion. The smooth registration process and excellent facilities provided by RAKEZ are crucial for our future operations."

Ramy Jallad, CEO of RAKEZ Group, welcomed the new addition, saying, "We are delighted that VIM Solar Robotics has chosen Ras Al Khaimah as its regional base. Their presence highlights the strategic benefits our emirate offers to technology and sustainable energy companies. This investment underscores RAKEZ's role in fostering industrial and technological growth in the region."
