Vibrant Energy and Amazon Sign PPA for 198 MW Wind Project in Maharashtra
With the addition of this wind project, Amazon has reached a milestone of more than 1.1 GW of renewable energy capacity in India, making them the largest corporate buyer of renewable energy in India, according to data from Bloomberg New Energy Finance.

Vibrant Energy (Vibrant) has signed their third power purchase agreement (PPA) with Amazon for a new 198-megawatt (MW) wind farm in Osmanabad, Maharashtra.
Last year, Amazon had announced its partnership with Vibrant for its first two wind-solar hybrid projects in India.
With the addition of this wind project, Amazon has reached a milestone of more than 1.1 GW of renewable energy capacity in India, making them the largest corporate buyer of renewable energy in India, according to data from Bloomberg New Energy Finance.
Srinivasan Viswanathan, CEO, Vibrant Energy, said "Transitioning to renewable energy is one of the most impactful ways to lower carbon emissions, and Vibrant is at the forefront of supporting corporates in India on their journey towards net-zero carbon electricity.
