US Based GSI Acquires 1.4GW Solar and Storage Portfolio of Saturn Power

The acquired pipeline contains 72 solar projects, 90 percent community solar projects, and six battery storage projects.

Greenwood Sustainable Infrastructure (GSI) has declared the acquisition of the solar and battery development portfolios of Saturn Power.

This involve its team of developers and an estimate of 1.4GW pipeline of initial to final-phase solar and energy storage projects in five states of USA and two Canadian provinces.

The acquired pipeline contains 72 solar projects, 90 percent community solar projects, and six battery storage projects.

This trade deal permits GSI to crucially reinforce its development capabilities, progressing over a decade of experience investing, developing, and supervising the performance of clean energy projects.

The project proposes to expands GSI's reach from seven to twelve US states, along with provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan in Canada.

GSI strategises to manage USD 200 million of capital investment to reinforce its North American portfolio, containing developing the acquired pipeline in the subsequent years.

Greenwood Sustainable Infrastructure (GSI) is a renewable energy entity concentrated on the development, construction and operation of distributed generation and utility-scale solar energy and battery storage projects in North America. The company was established in the year 2010.
