UPNEDA Issues Tender for 320 MW Solar Project in Jalaun

The Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) has announced an open tender for the development of up to 320 MW of grid-connected ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) power projects. The Request for Selection (RFS) document invites bids from solar project developers to establish these projects on a Build-Own-Operate basis on land leased from UPNEDA for 30 years.
The tender, which falls under the category of miscellaneous services, has a total value of INR 1,93,86,900. Interested bidders are required to pay a tender fee of INR 29,500, payable to the Director of UPNEDA in Lucknow. The bid also necessitates an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of INR 3,87,738, representing 2 percent of the project value, which is refundable upon bid finalisation. The EMD is also payable to the Director of UPNEDA in Lucknow. Exemptions for both the tender fee and EMD are not permitted.
Bidders must submit their proposals online through the eProcurement system. The submission period for e-bids begins on September 13, 2024, and ends on October 4, 2024, with bid opening scheduled for October 5, 2024, at 12:00 PM. The technical evaluation of bids will be based on the criteria outlined in the tender documents, which are available for download from the eProcurement portal.
