Union Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Rameswar Teli and Union Minister of State for Agriculture & Farmers' Welfare Kailash Choudhary visited Cairn's Mangala Processing Terminal in Barmer, Rajasthan. The two ministers commemorated the 30 years’ milestone of Cairn's operations across India.

The ministers engaged with the dynamic team of on-site engineers of Cairn Oil & Gas, who are instrumental in contributing 25 percent to the nation's crude oil and gas production. Over the past decades, Cairn's impact on Barmer's landscape has been transformative, with per capita income witnessing an increase of 650 percent.

This economic growth is a testament to Cairn's commitment to the development and prosperity of the region, while also reinforcing Cairn's position as the largest private player in India's energy sector. Embodying the firm’s ESG vision of planting 2 million trees, the ministers planted saplings at the sites, strengthening Cairn’s collective commitment to a sustainable future.
