Un electrified road from Devgarh to Basukinath in Jharkhand to finally receive electricity

Installation of five numbers of 100 kWp Power plants to provide lighting on un electrified road from Devgarh to Basukinath (105 km) in Jharkhand. The project intends to provide integrated facilities of electricity, water, shelter etc. to the pilgrims with the iinstallation of five numbers of 100 kWp Power plants from Devgarh to Basukinath (105 km) along with 2500Nos. LED Street Lights in Jharkhand. Pilgrims from all over India and abroad perform holy journey of 105KM on unelectrified road to the Jyotirlingam bare footed.

The tentative cost of the project is Rs 16.475 crores and Ministry's Central Financial Assistance is limited to Rs 4 crores. CFA wolud be lower of 40% of the project cost/ Tendered cost or Rs 4 Crores. The project is expected to be completed in 12 Months from commencement.

The project will be implemented through open tender by Jharkhand Renewable Energy Development Agency (JAREDA) with General Financing rules provisions adhered to the overall responsibility for procurement of systems, installation and providing technical help from time to time will lie with the State Nodal Agency. JAREDA will be responsible to monitor the project and maintain information on the website. Ministry will get these systems inspected by third party, if required.
