Ultraviolette and Bolt.Earth have accelerated the expansion of their interoperable Type-6 DC fast-charging network across India, crossing 130 operational chargers within weeks of launch as demand for electric motorcycles continues to rise.

The companies said that the rollout has already exceeded their original commitment of deploying 50 chargers by more than two times ahead of schedule. The charging network is currently operational across Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Telangana and West Bengal.

As part of the next phase, the companies plan to deploy another 200 Type-6 DC fast chargers over the next two months to strengthen charging accessibility across major cities, highways and emerging EV corridors.

The interoperable charging ecosystem supports Ultraviolette’s X-47 and F77 electric motorcycles and offers features including real-time charger discovery, live charging session monitoring and integrated digital payment options through connected platforms.

Niraj Rajmohan, Co-founder and CTO, Ultraviolette, said that the expansion comes at a crucial time for India’s mobility sector as global crude-oil volatility increases focus on energy security and cleaner transport solutions.

He said that dependable and interoperable charging infrastructure would be critical to scaling electric mobility adoption, enhancing rider confidence and improving long-distance usability for electric two-wheelers.

Meanwhile, Mohit Yadav, said that the rapid rollout reflects the pace at which India’s EV ecosystem is evolving. He added that Bolt.Earth aims to deploy 10,000 Type-6 Blaze DC chargers over the next two years to build one of the country’s largest fast-charging networks for electric two-wheelers.

The deployment includes both newly installed chargers and upgrades to existing Bolt.Earth infrastructure to support Ultraviolette motorcycles. The companies said that the initiative would help accelerate the adoption of standardized and future-ready EV charging infrastructure across India.

Ultraviolette develops high-performance electric motorcycles and battery technology platforms. Bolt.Earth currently operates over 100,000 EV chargers across more than 2,000 cities in India.
